MPH Participates in Ethics in Intellectual Property CLE
MPH Attorney Justin Durelli spoke at a Continuing Education Education Event “Ethics in Intellectual Property: Key Insights From Application to Jury Verdict” on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Along with Alison Caless from Cantor Colburn LLP and Drew A. Hillier from Axinn Veltrop & Harkrider LLP, Justin spoke on ethical issues arising during trademark clearance and investigations, appropriate conflict-of-interest screening for in-house and outside counsel during patent prosecution, and ethical jury selection strategies for federal intellectual property litigations.

MPH attorney Mark Meyers and Yale Quantum Institute’s Dr. Florian Carle led a CLE seminar on Quantum Computing and the Law at Yale University Wednesday, September 2. They explored how quantum computing and its advent will affect law and policy.
MPH hosts Connecticut Entrepreneurs Forum for a Discussion on IP Protection
McCormick, Paulding & Huber was pleased to host the Connecticut Entrepreneurs Forum for an interactive discussion Tuesday, September 15. MPH partner, Marina Cunningham, and George Chaclas, a partner at Day Pitney, presented and answered questions on how and when to obtain IP protection, when to use parents or trade secrets, how to enforce a patent, and many others.
MPH Presents 2019 Connecticut Invention Convention Annual Patent Award
MPH Attorneys John Linderman, Geoff Dellenbaugh and Justin Durelli served as judges at the Connecticut Invention Convention state finals. They delivered the MPH Patent Award to Praneeth Chitirala from the Engineering and Science University Magnet School in West Haven. MPH has presented its patent award to a worthy student inventor every year since 1998.
