MPH Attonery Mark Myers teaches Quantum Computing Course at UConn Law

Attorney Mark Myers taught the “Quantum Computing and Intellectual Property Law” course at UConn Law School this past summer. Students were introduced to the variety of ways that the advent of quantum computing may affect – and be affected by – the law, particularly intellectual property law. Students had the opportunity to exercise skills essential to the work of an IP lawyer, including efficiently absorbing enough understanding of an emerging technology to be effective and knowledgeable advocates for clients inventing, adopting, or affected by new technologies. He will teaching teh course again in the Spring 2027 semester.
